Every four years the County Council holds an election for all of its electoral divisions. 

 

On Thursday 4 May 2017, Hampshire voters will choose their representative on Hampshire County Council.

The Hampshire Equality Group will be asking ALL candidates in this election to sign up to this important pledge:

" I am committed to reducing income inequality in my community, Hampshire, and the country as a whole, as a key means of building a better society. Therefore, I will actively support the case for policies that narrow the gap between those whose incomes are highest and those that are lowest, such as the implementation of the Living Wage as set by the Living Wage Foundation. I will engage with the debate on which measures should be implemented to achieve that aim"
